The art of catchy titles
Recent events took me to England and the British Library. The British Library has been getting into digitization in a big way, for good reason: it improves their delivery time, has trackable access, and takes wear and tear off of fragile original material. To this end, they have digitized roughly 65,000 of their holdings in (first edition) 19th Century fiction, and made them available for free on the Kindle. The best headline in news coverage?
Pride and Prejudice and Kindles. Like that other book about zombies, the simple catchiness is irresistable.
