Celebrating Jon Lipsky
Jon Lipsky, playwright and longtime faculty member at the Boston University School of Theatre, passed away on March 19, 2011. Although I didn’t study with Jon (I was one of Lydia Diamond’s playwriting students), I did know him and vividly remember his participation in talkbacks after play readings. The BU School of Theatre is holding a celebratory event next week on Monday, May 9 at 7:30 PM, at the Boston University Theatre. Free and open to the public.
