Audience favorite and RSOC Director-at-large Ashley Harmon (Fiona in The Frat Party, The Queen in The Strange Tale of Snow White, Elizabetta in Don Giovanni di Casanova) stars in the upcoming Walpole Footlighters production of  King of Hearts. This perspective-warping musical (set during World War 1) is a Boston native, having done its pre-Broadway tryout at the Colonial Theatre, and returns now to the Footlighters Playhouse in Walpole.

On Wednesday, 21 April 2010, the Reduced Spice Opera Company will present the world premiere of Aaron Krerowicz’s music drama Simple Gifts: A Copland Opera. This powerful depiction of the Second Red Scare, based on actual hearing transcripts, sees composer Aaron Copland pitted against Sen. Joseph McCarthy during an anti-Communist witch hunt. Framing this work are two scenes from The Wedding Fiasco, a new comic opera by RSOC Artistic Director Basil Considine.
